Let me tell you, Hailee’s 22nd birthday portrait session at Studio 11 in Batavia, NY, was an absolute dream! I love when clients bring in their own personal style and energy to the session, and Hailee did just that. It was so much fun to capture her personality, style, and the excitement of celebrating such a big milestone—her 22nd birthday!

Hailee wanted her portraits to feel vibrant, joyful, and full of life—perfect for ringing in another year of adventure and growth. She trusted me to guide the creative process, and the freedom to experiment made the session even more special. And while we kept it simple with just a one-hour session, I’m amazed at how much we were able to capture in that time. Seriously, imagine what we could’ve done with even more time to play with different looks and vibes!

Studio 11 is such a gem. The natural light, the clean backdrop, and the modern, chic vibe of the space really allowed Hailee’s personality to shine through in every shot. It was the perfect setting to create images that were both stunning and timeless—while still reflecting her youthful energy and the excitement of turning 22. From playful candid shots to gorgeous posed portraits, we had a great mix of everything.

One of my favorite parts of this session was how we incorporated her love of color and texture. Hailee’s outfits were spot on, and the studio’s minimalist decor allowed the focus to stay on her—her style, her energy, and her special moment. We played around with a variety of compositions—some classic, some more editorial-style—so she’d have a gallery full of options to celebrate this new chapter in her life.

It’s always a blast to celebrate moments like these—whether it’s a milestone birthday, a senior year, or just a fun portrait session. And I’m so glad I got to be a part of Hailee’s birthday memories this year.
